When Life Happens

Quite often—despite our well-laid plans—life gets interrupted. Such was the case for me last weekend!

I had good intentions of writing a post last weekend. That is until I woke up Saturday morning, took my temperature, discovered it was 102.5, and promptly went to lie down on the couch.

I wasn’t super excited about being sick for my second week of school. My temperature rocketed up to 103.7 before finally breaking. But that left me with a migraine to deal with, lots of fatigue, and then a killer cold.

My personality is one that likes to stay on top of things. It was difficult for me to set aside my school work and chores and allow time to get better. But I was reminded of one of the wonderful perks of College Plus. I can set my schedule! Even though I missed several days in a row, I was able to catch up at my own pace. If I had been tied to a college campus and schedule, I have no doubt that catching up would have been far more difficult.

So hopefully I’ll be back to my regular posting now!

So glad you were able to rest! Are you feeling better now?

Yep, flexible scheduling is one of many amazing perks of CP =) Don't worry about missing a week here and there -- it won't really matter in the big picture ;)

I'm sorry I didn't see this comment, Megan! I guess I can blame it on being sick at the time. :-P It took me about 3-4 weeks to fully recover. The fatigue and suppressed appetite dragged on for awhile.

Haha! I'll try not to worry too much. ;-) Sometimes I can be a little too driven by schedules.
